Dark Chocolate Mousse
Serves 5-6 - serving size ½ Cup
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
- ½ Cup Chia Seeds
- ½ Cup Cocoa Powder
- ¼ Cup Almond Butter
- 3 Tbsp. Monkfruit Extract
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- ½ tsp. Sea Salt
Optional toppings or layers:
- Any flavor of 5 Nut Granola
- Extra Cocoa Powder
- Fresh Berries
- Coconut Cream or Coconut Flakes
Method:
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened, smooth, and creamy.
- Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours. Top with your favorite flavor 5 Nut Granola flavor and other toppings. Enjoy!
Notes:
- Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to five days. Stir well before serving.
- Monkfruit Extract - use granular or powdered. No monkfruit? Sweeten to taste with stevia or maple syrup instead.
- No Almond Butter? Substitute your favorite nut or seed butter instead.
